Annelies Michelle Shakison is a passionate and versatile Theatre designer. Her love for music and dance forms the basis of her expressions and inspire her.
She has a fascination for minimalism and fabrics. This is clearly reflected
in her work, where she creates new worlds with care and attention to detail.
With her playful, detailed look, she takes the audience on a journey
through her unique vision of the world,inviting them to look and
feel trough her eyes.
Growing up in a creative family, Annelies has always had
a strong connection with design.
She has studied pastry baking and later on Theatre Design at
the School of the Arts Utrecht (HKU), where she graduated in 2016.
In addition to designing for theater, Annelies has also worked
behind the scenes at costume departments of shows like Tina Turner,
The Lion King, Legend of the Desert and Hans Klok - Live in Las Vegas.
